Return Policy at McGill Teak
At McGill Teak, we are committed to your satisfaction and want you to love your outdoor living space. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Eligibility for Return:
- Items must be in new, unused, and unassembled condition.
- Items must be in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and parts.
- Proof of purchase (order number, receipt) is required for all returns.
- Custom orders, clearance/final sale items, and items damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
Return Process:
- Initiate a Return: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at sales@mcgillteak.com or 408-964-8888 within the 30-day return window. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.
- Return Authorization: Our team will review your request and, if eligible, return will be initiated.
- Packaging and Shipment: Carefully re-package the item(s) in their original packaging, ensuring all components are included.
- Return shipment/ pickup: We at McGill Teak work with you to arrange pick up of the shipment.
- Inspection and Refund: Once we receive your returned item(s), our team will inspect them to ensure they meet the return eligibility criteria. Please allow 7-10 business days for this inspection process.
Restocking Fee:
A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all eligible returns. This fee covers the costs associated with processing, inspecting, and re-warehousing returned merchandise. The restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.
Refunds:
- Approved refunds, less the 20% restocking fee and original shipping charges, will be issued to the original form of payment.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
Damaged or Defective Items Upon Arrival:
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. To expedite the resolution process, please provide clear photos of the damage to both the product and its packaging. We will work with you to arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost, as determined by our discretion.
Cancellations:
Orders may be canceled without penalty if the cancellation request is received and confirmed by McGill Teak before the order has been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to our standard return policy.
