Payments by Check

McGill Teak accepts payments by check, payable to McGill Teak

  • For personal buyers (residential purposes): Once your check clears, your order will be processed and shipped.
  • For large companies: We kindly request that large orders be processed via company checks or money orders. Please note that credit cards are not accepted for large orders.

Canceling an Order

We understand that plans can change. Here's how to modify or cancel your order:

  • Before Checkout: You can easily remove any item from your cart before completing the checkout process.
  • After Payment: If you need to cancel your order after payment has been made, please write to us. We will process your cancellation and issue a refund on the same day.

Order Processing and Delivery

Once we receive your order, we immediately begin preparing your furniture. This may include:

  • Applying teak protector, if requested.
  • Preparing all components for shipment.

Once your order is ready, it will be shipped via freight carrier (LTL - Less-than-Truckload). We'll provide you with a tracking number and other relevant shipping information.

  • Delivery Timeframe: You can typically expect your order to arrive within 3 to 10 business days from the shipping date.
  • Delivery Scheduling: The freight company will contact you directly to schedule a delivery time that works for you.
  • Inspection Upon Arrival: It is crucial to thoroughly inspect your freight BEFORE signing the delivery paperwork.
    • If you notice any abnormalities, such as visible damage to the packaging or contents, document it clearly on the sign-off sheet provided by the driver. This is vital for any potential claims.

Delivery Options

We offer convenient delivery options to suit your needs:

  • Standard Delivery (Curbside):
    • This is our standard service where the freight company driver delivers your furniture to the curb directly outside your home.
    • Many drivers, with gratitude shown, may be willing to bring your freight into your garage, but this is at their discretion.
  • White Glove Delivery:
    • For a premium experience, we offer White Glove delivery. This service includes:
      • Delivery of the furniture into your home.
      • Assembly of the furniture.
      • Removal of all packaging materials.
