Teak protector can be used to clean weathered teak furniture. An easy to use liquid will cut down time required to clean teak outdoor furniture compared to sanding.
Cleaning directions:
Note: Solution carries abrasive chemical that needs eye and hands protection, so get your glasses and gloves.
To bring back the new look to weathered teak Apply McGill Teak Cleaner directly to wood. Spread cleaner with medium bristle cleaning brush. Allow Teak Cleaner to stay on surface for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Scrub the wood in the direction of grain using medium bristle brush. Use water as you scrub using medium bristle brush. Repeat the step for stubborn marks if still there. At the end make sure all the dirt is out of micro groves/valleys that are formed on teak wood over time. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Once wood is dry, sand the wood to bring smooth finish.
