The warm and relaxing Premium Teak wood lends quality to Aegean double extension Oval teak table which is hard to match and is wonderful addition to your Patio furniture. The beautiful slats inserts create a functional and pleasing table top surface for maximum use and versatility. Aegean Elliptical Table easily seats six even without extension. The umbrella hole stays in place no matter the extension setting are used or not.

The double Butterfly Leaf extenders give the table the ability to extend from 63 inches to 73 inches and ultimately 83 inches with a 39.4 inch width with both the extensions in place.Both the extensions wrap neatly under the table surface without you having to do any lifting. Table has an umbrella hole at the top and bottom, means you don’t need an umbrella base with this table. The sturdy table top is made 1.5" thick from Indonesian harvested grade A teak wood. The table edges are rounded. Tenon and mortise joinery re-enforced by teak dowels ensure durable and strength. Aegean Teak Extension Oval Table

There are only few sources of good teak timber in the world. Note that I said “Good” source of teak timber. Teak is sourced from Eastern part of India, Burma, and some parts of Indonesia. Harvesting from India was banned in early seventies to preserve and conduct more organized harvesting of Teak. It is considered as tropical tree but a better quality teak is produced in moderate rain. Teak is hard, close grained, golden yellowish color wood that is ideal for outdoor furniture and marine related products. The most important factor that makes it one of the best timbers is its high levels of resinous teak oil. This oil serves as it’s protector against moisture, drying and insects attacks. Having teak furniture at your home is considered as a status symbol because of its durability, looks and is choice of well of people. Considering the life expectancy and maintenance free outdoor teak furniture justifies these high prices, in-fact it will be better return of your investment over time.

Why prefer Extension tables

Inferior grade of Teak wood
Some retail sellers allow their suppliers to use lower grade of Teak wood so as to keep the production cost low. The price difference between Grade A and C is about 40%. That makes the table or any other piece of furniture made with grade C teak at least 30% cheaper compared to that of Grade A teak wood.

Thinner wood used
You can find that two teak tables though look similar but the price difference is more than 15%. Some retailers play this trick by reducing the table wood thickness by more than 40% and reducing the price by 15%. Teak wood contributes about 65% of the total cost of any table. If table is 40% thinner compared to the thicker table but the price difference is only 15% than with calculation the thicker table is much cheaper because the seller is giving you 40% more with only 15% more price.
Thicker, heavy tables tend to last almost twice or three times longer than the thinner table. All our double extension tables are 1.5inch thick which put them in top 5% of the teak outdoor tables being sold. All our teak dining chairs have frame thickness of 2.1inch thick, thicker than being offered at other retailers.

Unless stated all McGillTeak furniture is shipped in flat-box using different modes.

STANDARD GROUND PACKAGE
Individual items are shipped through FedEx or UPS ground services. Upgrade services available with additional charges.

MOTOR FREIGHT
All freights are delivered curb side unless special arrangements are made prior to shipping. Heavier and larger items are shipped though truck freight companies like Convey, RL freight, Oak Harbor fright lines. Freight is delivered during business hours Monday through Friday. Freight Company will call to schedule delivery and you can dictate the time they should bring the freight. All fright is shipped well packed on wooden pallets and shrink wrapped, so the chances of damage is very low. Still we ask you to inspect your freight and make a note of any damages on carrier's receipt. Contact us within 3 days if you find any concealed damages or shortages. All freights leave our warehouse within 3 business days. Lead time is between 2 to 7 business days depending upon your address of delivery.  For detail please read here.

GUARANTEE
All pieces of furniture are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase. We will replace, repair or give you refund depending upon the situation. If you purchased our product from our dealer please contact the dealer directly if you so require.

RETURNS
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return the item for exchange or refund within 30 days from date of purchase. Please call for a return authorization number (returns cannot be accepted without this number). Upon return, pending inspection, refunds (less shipping costs) will be issued for merchandise received in “as new” condition. It is the owner’s responsibility to properly repackage and secure the merchandise to ensure safe return. Custom made cushions and pillows can not be returned unless it is defective or wrong size.
